Terms of Service

These terms cover the Arcus website, account, and desktop investigation desk. They are a plain-language customer summary, not a substitute for a negotiated enterprise contract.

The product

Arcus is a desktop investigation desk for technical support engineers: first response on new tickets, live calls, investigation and history. The website is for accounts, downloads, docs, and billing. We do not replace your helpdesk.

Accounts

You must provide accurate sign-in details. Email/password and (when the OAuth app accepts the request) GitHub or Google create a session on the Arcus API. The same session can be handed to the desktop app via the existing arcus:// callback. You are responsible for access to your machine and connectors.

Acceptable use

  • Use Arcus only on systems and data you are authorized to access.
  • Do not attempt to bypass authentication, quotas, or connector consent.
  • Human-gated posts stay off until you enable them; do not use Arcus to silently message customers.

Software

Desktop builds are distributed from GitHub Releases. Current Mac builds are not Apple-notarized. Follow the download page (Right-click → Open). We may update or discontinue builds. The software is provided as-is during design-partner use.

Privacy

How we handle account data, tokens, and investigation context is described in the Privacy Policy.
